Electro-Voice EVID-PC8.2 8" Premium Ceiling Speaker System (Single Speaker)

Item was removed from an install and was fully functional at the time of removal. Front grills were painted with ceiling while installed, easy to repaint and does not effect performance in anyway. Speakers come with harness connectors installed. Please see pictures as they stand as part of the description. **Wire harness adapter not included. **Nothing else is included in the sale of the speaker other than what is seen pictured. EVID PC8.2 is a coaxial speaker system which means there's a woofer (for low frequencies) and a tweeter (for high frequencies) mounted on the same axis. The speaker has a passive built-in filter that feeds the low frequencies to the woofer and the high frequencies to the tweeter, resulting in a wide frequency range from 50 to 20 000 Hertz. The speaker has an input impedance switch with the following settings : 8, 15, 30, and 60 ohm. Comes with mounting brackets to allow mounting in a drop-ceiling. Tile rails (two per speaker) are placed between the tile supports, and then a C-shaped ring is attached to the rails. The C-shaped ring then secures the speaker. This is shown and explained well in the Installation and Operation Manual (included, also available as download from internet). The connector is a 4-terminal Phoenix-style connector (shown in the photos). The signal is connected to the two center screws. The other two may be used for cascading several speakers off the same amplifier. Note these speakers are not equipped with tweeter horn, see photos. These speakers are used but have been tested and are fully functional. When new, these speakers sell for about $820 per pair.
